For rock, you must start with Thin Lizzy.
And then ... The Pogues

must Flogging Molly - my favorite go-look band - as in Dublin on 5 and 6! Dropkick Murphys are good, the new album is one of the best - check out the state of Massachusetts. The Pogues risen too high at the top - almost all the xmas Dublin - McGowan play also sings some songs on dropkicks if you are interested.

try runnin riot - they are a punk band from Belfast, and sing their own accents - you hear the judge, jury and executioner / Johnny Reggae / Beverage Heroes - all great!

Well, it depends. Looking for Celtic Fusion (Pouge, Flogging Molly, Dropkick Murphys, etc.) or the bands that are currently in Ireland?

The strange thing is that most Celtic punk bands that I've found that American or Canadian tendency. I have no idea why!

There were some suggestions for punk Celtic great, but if you come from the Irish bands:

Thin Lizzy

"The Virgin Prunes
My Bloody Valentine
The Undertones
Stiff Little Fingers
JJ72
Ash
The Cranberries
Horslips
The Frames
Humanz
Fight Like Apes
The speed
Butterfly Explosion
The Chalets
Manager
Bell X1
Boss Volenti

Solo Artist:

Fionn Regan
Damien Rice
Cathy Davey
Jape
Duke Special
Lisa Hannigan
Simple Kid
Mundy
Nina Hynes
The Mighty Stef
David Geraghty

And Real McKenzies Scottish, Irish. ^ _ ^

This is difficult - is Irish. Many of the aforementioned bands, but have Irish roots, are not really Irish.

Try, Thin Lizzy, The Pogues, Rory Gallagher, hear Cruachan or primary.

Are among the best, past and present, to leave Ireland.

The first and most important group of Irish punk you hear is The Pogues.
Then you are Flogging Molly and The Dropkick Murphys.
Also check the Pogues, The Fray, Black 47, Charm City Saints, Mahones, Big Bad Bollocks, popes, are all very good. His blood

Bean response is great!

You can also on the N-series Shite and onions Project website / magazine. It is entirely devoted to Celtic punk, and some to forget that most people tend to be. As Blaggards and what not.
